National Conference of Plant Physiology-2013
(13-16 December, 2013)
To meet the demand of ever growing population, agricultural production must be increased from the shrinking natural resources and unfavourable climatic conditions in the current climate change scenario. Besides the conventional demands for food, fodder and fibre, now agriculture has to produce more to meet the demand for biofuel too. Therefore, it is imperative to develop genotypes and devise production technologies capable of enhancing both productivity and quality. In this context, the National Conference of Plant Physiology-2013 on “Current Trends in Plant Biology Research” is to be held at Directorate of Groundnut Research, Junagadh, India with its main focus on physiological aspects related to agriculture and life-sciences covering plant physiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, cell biology, genetics, microbiology, ecology and environment, forestry, and all other related subjects.
